AI assistants for sales: what works, what doesn’t

Dmitry Kholodov · Solution Architect·February 28, 2026·9 min read

Through 2025 we shipped seven AI assistants into sales teams. Three projects produced measurable conversion lift. Two — zero effect. Two — we shut down.

What actually works

  • Auto call summaries with commitments — saves up to 40 minutes a day
  • High/medium/low intent lead scoring — conversion +18%
  • Live objection prompts for junior reps

What looks good but doesn’t work

Fully autonomous AI sellers. Customers feel the difference within 2–3 messages, trust drops, deal cycles stretch.

Where the line is

AI is good at structuring large incoming volumes and prompting a human action. Bad at making decisions and owning the outcome.

Let's
talk.

We reply within one business day with an initial assessment and the nearest team slot.
