Challenge

Scale-model collectors compare prices and availability across 10+ websites manually: catalogues overlap, prices fluctuate, items constantly out of stock. Needed an aggregator: one search — all shops — best prices — click to source.

What We Did

• Microservice architecture on .NET: BaseService (main API), FileService (images), Spiders (crawl schedules), Parsers (parser execution), Saver (normalisation and database writes).
• 24 shop parsers: Amodel, ArmaModels, BalkanHobby, CentrHobby, Enosha, FlakHobby, Hobby4Me, HobbyDelux, HobbyMod, iModelist, MHobby, MModels, MashtabEkb, MirModelista, ModelLavka and others — each with own crawl logic and normalisation.
• Spiders service as scheduler: background workers trigger parsers on schedule → Saver normalises and updates catalogue.
• Frontend on Vue 3 + Quasar 2 in SSR mode for SEO and fast first-byte on niche queries.
• FileService handles images separately: downloads, stores, serves via CDN-like mechanism.

Result

• Working aggregator with live prices from 24 shops in a single search.
• Parsers update catalogue automatically on schedule.
• Quasar SSR gives good search indexing on narrow queries — specific model names.
