Challenge

Client needed a unified platform for breeders and pet owners: record pedigrees, run genetic tests, post ads, handle animal transfers. Before this, data lived in Excel and messengers.

What We Did

• Designed domain model: animals, pedigrees, tests, owners, ads, deals.
• Built pedigree tree system with ancestor and descendant visualisation.
• Created genetic testing request management module.
• Built marketplace for ads with filters and search.
• Set up admin panel for content and user management.
• Implemented animal transfer process between owners with full history.
• Connected to uptime service and set up a public status page.

Result

• Full-featured PetTech platform in production.
• Public status page uptime.handev.org/status/linkpet — 18 monitors, 2 domains.
• Work continues — new modules rolled out per client roadmap.
